Willis testified during the contentious Thursday hearing that Wade's attitude on issues like that was a pain point for them while dating. During a line of questioning about the end of Willis and Wade's relationship, the Fulton County DA offered a glimpse into the former couple's dynamic. However, Robin Bryant Yeartie, a former friend and colleague of Willis, testified Thursday that Willis and Wade's relationship began in 2019.

Yeartie testified in the case Thursday, saying Willis and Wade began a relationship in 2019, contradicting his prior claims. Willis was verbose on the stand, cracking jokes and snapping at the defense attorney as she appeared eager to take back control of the case.
